Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Robert Wickens posted a video to his official Twitter feed on Sunday afternoon as he continues his recovery from the injuries he suffered at Pocono Raceway last month.
In the video, the Canadian said:
Hey everybody, I just wanted to take the time to send a quick note, it’s obviously been a long time since I posted anything on social media but I just wanted to say that all of your kind words and all of your positivity has meant the absolute world to me and my family.
I am in rehab now trying to get back to 100% as quickly as possible but I don’t know what the future holds for me, it’s going to be a very long road to recovery but all I can say is that I can promise you guys that I am going to work as hard as possible and train as hard as possible to make sure I am back in a race car as quickly as possible and that is all I can say for now.
I just want to say good luck to everyone in Sonoma this weekend, I am going to be watching on my tv here and yeah good luck everybody!
