AJ Foyt Racing head into the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg next weekend following big changes over the off season.
The team have brought in former Carlin and Chip Ganassi Racing driver Charlie Kinball who returns to the NTT IndyCar Series full time driving the No.4 ripKurrent Chevrolet.
The team have also brought in four time champion Sebastien Bourdais who will share the No.14 Chevrolet with highly rated Canadian rookie Dalton Kellett who makes his NTT IndyCar Series debut this season, the pair will share the No.14 Chevrolet.
NTT IndyCar Series veteran Tony Kanaan will compete in all the oval events as part of #TKLastLap as the 2020 season will be the last year of the Brazilian’s illustrious career in the NTT IndyCar Series.
The team will be hoping that the changes that they have made will help them move forward in 2020.
Speaking ahead of the opening race, team president Larry Foyt said:
Many changes and a multiple driver situation will create some challenges for us. The key is to show improvement and affirm that the engineering reset is a good new baseline. The NTT INDYCAR SERIES is as deep and competitive as I have ever seen it, but with the group we have together there are some races where I feel we can be fast and deliver some great results.
