This weekend’s Big Machine Spiked Vodka Coolers Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course will have a record number of entries.
Following on from last week’s inaugural Big Machine Music City Grand Prix which saw 27 cars enter the race, this weekend will see 28 cars take to the grid at The Racing Capital Of The World.
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will once again run a third car this weekend however, Santino Ferrucci will not be in the No.45 Honda, this weekend, Alpine F1 Team development driver, Christian Lundgaard will make his NTT IndyCar Series race debut alongside Graham Rahal and Takuma Sato.
Jimmie Johnson is back in the No.48 Carvana Honda before handing over to Tony Kanaan for next weekend’s oval race, the Bommarito Automotive Group 500.
Top Gun Racing who entered the Indianapolis 500 in May but failed to qualify will make their NTT IndyCar Series race debut with RC Enerson behind the wheel of the No.75 Chevrolet which brings the entry list up to 28 drivers.
