Chip Ganassi Racing head into the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season with an exceptionally strong driver line-up. Defending series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda enters his 20th season with Chip Ganassi Racing, their 19th in the NTT IndyCar Series.

The pairing is the longest driver/team pairing in IndyCar Series history with the Iceman having won all of his sixth series championships and the 2008 Indianapolis 500 with Ganassi.

Dixon is joined for a second season by Marcus Ericsson who returns for a second season with Ganassi in the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda as the Swede enters his third season of competition in the NTT IndyCar Series. Dixon has also reunited with his old team-mate Tony Kanaan who drove the No.10 Dallara for Ganassi from 2014 – 2017 before joining AJ Foyt Racing.

Kanaan will share the No.48 Carvana/NTT Honda with seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson who will make his IndyCar Series race debut with Ganassi in the season-opening Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park in exactly a month.

Kanaan will compete in the oval races including the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 30.

Alex Palou has joined the team from Dale Coyne Racing following an extremely impressive rookie IndyCar Series season in 2020.

Ganassi has a great driver line up for this season and they can expect to fight at the front of the field from the opening race of the season, the Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park on April 18. The circuit announced this week that fans will be able to attend the race this year. For more information –
