Schmidt Peterson Motorsports head into race 2 of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Lear at the Belle Isle Raceway.
James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Honda who finished Saturday’s race one on the podium in third place having made his way through the field from the back of the field following his spin as he entered turn 2 on the opening lap of the race. The Mayor of HinchTown started the race from fifth place and that is where he will start today’s race from fifth place on the grid.
Mikhail Aleshin in the No.7 Lucas Oil Honda ended Saturday’s race in 6th place having started the race from 20th place. The Russian will start Sunday’s race just behind his team mate James Hinchcliffe in sixth place.
