Craig Breen had a strong weekend as he returned to the FIA World Rally Championship for the first time in nine months as he joined Hyundai Motorsport driving the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.

The Waterford native and his co driver Paul Nagle had a trouble free weekend although they did receive a 20s penalty on Sunday morning for being two minutes later for scrutineering. Breen ended the event inside the top ten in seventh place less than five seconds behind his team mate Thierry Neuville.

Speaking following the Rally, Craig Breen Tweeted:

Two very happy boys after their weekends work. Massive thanks to the team for putting their faith in us!
