Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Takuma Sato and Graham Rahal had an extremely strong 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season.
The season had a a delayed start due to COVID 19 with the Geneyes 300 at Texas Motor Speedway in June serving as the season opener.
The GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis presented by AMR saw Graham Rahal finish the race in second place behind Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon.
Takuma Sato took pole position for the 104th running of the Indianapolis presented by Gainbridge in August and went onto record his second Indianapolis 500 win and first with RLL.
Graham Rahal came home in third place. Rahal ran Spencer Pigot in the No.45 Hy-Vee Embrace Pittsburgh Honda for Citrone Buhl Autosport with RLL for a number of races in 2020 including the Indianapolis 500.
Graham Rahal and Takuma Sato ended the season in sixth and seventh place respectively giving Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing plenty of momentum going into the 2020 with the new season getting underway on March 7th for the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.
