Romain Grosjean in the No.77 Juncos Hollinger Racing Chevrolet capped a great weekend for the team at the Milwaukee Mile as he started the race from 14th place and came home in ninth place.

Speaking following the action he said:

A very good weekend for the Juncos Hollinger Racing team with Conor’s podium yesterday and the first podium for the team. A tough time for me in the last two races but generally I think we can be very proud about work we put into the weekend. With just one race to go and we are going to try to do even better.”

The result came after Comor Daly in the No.78 Chevrolet claimed the team’s maiden podium with a brilliant drive to third in Saturday’s race.

Speaking following a tough race on Sunday, Daly, who came home in 17th place said:

Well today started OK and then we had an issue with the clutch which cost us a lot of laps which was such a shame because our car was so fast. We know we were really fast which is great and yesterday we were on the podium so we can really be happy about this weekend. So now we head to Nashville with a lot of good momentum.”

Team founder and co-owner Ricardo Juncos commented saying:

“The No. 77 had a good points day today here at Milwaukee bringing it home in 9th. We had a clutch issue with the No 78 that lost us a few laps, but Conor did a great job bringing the car home in 17th which was a good points result as well. Yesterday we had our first podium for the team and it will be a memory we will cherish forever. Looking forward to the season finale in Nashville in two weeks time.”
