AJ Foyt Racing’s Tony Kanaan and Matheus ‘Matt’ Leist endured a tough race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Saturday.
Kanaan in the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet started the race from 12th place and finished in 14th place and speaking following the race the Brazilian commented on the race by saying:
We actually had a good race going, but our pit stops were just not up to par. All we gained on track we lost in the pits. We need to address that before the next race.
Matheus ‘Matt’ Leist started the race from 21st place and finished the race in 21st place and speaking following the race the Brazilian commented by saying:
“Today was a tough race. I had a difficult car, dealt with a few issues. Unfortunately, it was not our day again. On to the next one.”
James Davison will join AJ Foyt Racing on Tuesday driving the No.66 Foyt Racing/Bryd Racing/Belardi Racing as practice gets underway for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
