It has been an extremely busy week for the NTT IndyCar Series. On Tuesday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit it was announced that Japanese tech company NTT has been named a title sponsor to the series in place of Verizon.
NTT has a long history with series dating back to 2013 with Chip Ganassi Racing.
NTT DATA will once again serve as primary sponsor to the No.10 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda of NTT IndyCar Series rookie Felix Rosenqvist.
We also had the announcement from Gateway Motorsport’s Park that they have extended their partnership with the Bommarito Automotive Group.
On Wednesday we had two major announcements, firstly, we heard from WhetherTech Raceway Laguna Seca who will host the season finale as they confirmed a two year partnership with NTT IndyCar Series tire supplier Firestone. The Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey takes place from September 20 -22.
The second big announcement to come on Wednesday came from Road America who confirmed they have concluded a multi-year partnership with REV Group. The REV Group Grand Prix at Road America takes places from June 20-23.
It the coming days we will hear from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as to who will replace PennGrade Motor Oil as the entitlement sponsor of the Indianapolis 500.
NTT IndyCar Series President Jay Frye tweeted on Wednesday to say:

All this news just shows that the NTT IndyCar Series continues to grow in popularity and is going from strength to strength and that the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season is going to be incredible.
