Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing have confirmed that for this weekend’s DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway, they have entered into a partnership with ABeam Consulting that will see the firm serve as primary sponsor to Takuma Sato’s No.30 Honda.
ABeam have been an associate sponsor of Takuma Sato’s in the Verizon IndyCar Series since 2017,
Speaking about the news, the Japanese driver commented by saying:
I am very proud to have ABeam Consulting as a sponsor for the past year and especially to have them as the primary sponsor of my race car for the first time at Texas Motor Speedway. “Their enthusiasm and pride in their company is tremendous and they share the same passion for motorsport. I have been meeting many employees and clients of ABeam in Orlando, Florida this week and look forward to meeting more in Texas and working hard to bring ABeam a good result in the race.
As part of the new deal, ABeam will send three engineers to be part of Sato’s crew for the majority of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series races starting with this weekend’s DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Speaking about the news, Managing Director for Americas at ABeam, Koh Watanabe commented by saying:
Since our relationship with Takuma started last year, we have been very pleased to work with him not only at the race track but also at corporate events. “We share many of the same goals about precision, strategic planning and success. We know the race at Texas Motor Speedway is one of the most exciting of the season and we will have many people at the event to support Takuma.
