Alfa Romeo Racing have confirmed that they have lodged an appeal over the race result for last weekend’s German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring last weekend which saw both Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi handed 30s point race penalties for being in breach of Article 27.1 of the Formula One technical regulations relating to the torque setting of the clutch at the start of the race.
Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi finished the race in seventh and eight place respectively. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Alfa Romeo Racing said:
