The Indianapolis Motor Speedway on will come alive to sound of NTT IndyCar’s on Wednesday when 24 drivers take to the oval for the Indianapolis 500 open test.

Fans will get the opportunity to see Fernando Alonso in action in the McLaren Racing NTT IndyCar.

The Spaniard returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next month to attempt to complete Motorsport’s triple crown.

There are other drivers returning to the Speedway, Hello Castroneves will be back in action alongside his team mate’s at Penske, Josef Newgarden, Will Power and Simon Pagenaud.

Sage Karam returns to Indianapolis 500 for Dreyer and Reinbold Racing while Charlie Kimball returns for Carlin Racing.

Fans can view the test from the Turn 2 viewing mound. Katie Harrgitt, Robin Miller and the NBC Sports team will  be there as the test will also be streamed live on Facebook and via the IndyCar website.
