The Grand Prix of Indianapolis is over for another year and now it is time for the NTT IndyCar Series teams and drivers to get down to the serious business of getting ready for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be transformed back into its oval configuration through Sunday and Monday, during this time the teams will be working on setting up their cars for the oval layout at IMS before official Indianapolis 500 practice gets underway on Tuesday morning.
Fernando Alonso and McLaren will be back on track this week as they prepare for next weekend’s Crown Royal Armed Forces Indy 500 qualifying which this year takes place over two days, both Saturday and Sunday.
