Ed Carpenter Racing announced on Wednesday that Allison Transmission will join the team for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next month.
The Allison Transmissions logo will appear on the No.20 Chevrolet of two time Indianapolis 500 pole sitter Ed Carpenter.
Speaking about the partnership Ed Carpenter Racing owner Ed Carpenter commented by saying:

Along with their presence on Ed Carpenter’s car for the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, the Allison Transmission logo will appear on Josef Newgarden’s No.21 Chevrolet for the Angier’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis on May 14.
