The Alpine F1 Team has confirmed that after just 18 months with the Enstone-based outfit, Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer will leave the team following the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend.

In a major shake up, the team has also confirmed that after 34 years with the team, Sporting Director Alan Permane will leave the team following the Belgian Grand Prix.

The team also announced that Pat Fry will leave the outfit with Williams Racing announcing the Englishman will join the Grove-based out in November.

Alpine are currently sixth in the Constructors championship on 47 points.
