Andretti Autosport owner Michael Andretti has confirmed that he will make a decision in the next week or so about who his engine partner will be for the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
In recent weeks Andretti Autosport have been linked with a return to Chevrolet power who they enjoyed a successful relationship with.
Andretti who has won back to back Indianapolis 500 races with Alexander Rossi and Takuma Sato has said that the engine decision has to be in the best interest of his team.
If the team returns to Chevrolet next season it would mean that Takuma Sato will be looking for another seat with the Japanese driver being linked with a move to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
The first domino for 2018 could fall next week when Team Penske announce further details about their 2018 sports car programme.
