Andretti Autosport owner and Chairman Michael Andretti says that they will make a call on the No.29 Honda for 2024 in the middle of the year.

Andretti Autosport experienced a return to form in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES last time out at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach where Kyle Kirkwood took his maiden IndyCar victory while Romain Grosjean scored a second place finish.

Speaking about Devlin DeFrancesco and the No.29 Honda, Andretti said that the team will make a decision on the fate of that entry for 2024 later in the year.

Kyle Kirkwood and Colton Herta are both on long-term contracts with Andretti while the team are closing in on agreeing a contract extension for Romain Grosjean.

Andretti says that he has had a number of pay drivers contact him about the No.29 Honda and its potential availability for 2024 so it remains to be seen what will happen.
