NTT IndyCar Series legend Mario Andretti who won the Indianapolis 500 in 1959 with STP Corporation and the 1978 Formula One world championship with Lotus is putting his time in lockdown during the COVID 19 global pandemic to good use.

Andretti has teamed up with bestselling author David Fisher to help him.

Mario is staying at home during the pandemic, finally with time to write his memoirs. He is writing with David Fisher, author of more than 70 books, among them 32 New York Times bestsellers. This is not a bio of all the events that took place chronological order… It’s Mario’s view now on what happened then…… reflecting on life lessons, choices, people, and holding it all together. Mario, who turned 80 this year is still actively involved in the NTT IndyCar Series working as an ambassador for series tire supplier Firestone and also works with Honda providing two seater rides for special guests and competition winners at races during the season.
