The eagerly anticipated F1 The Movie races into movie theaters on Friday, June 27, one week from today.

The fledgling APX GP team powered by Mercedes-Benz are in their debut season in Formula One but are struggling with their rookie driver, Joshua Pearse (Damson Idris).

Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) is a veteran F1 driver who last raced in the sport in the 1990s and is now competing in endurance racing.

Sonny is approached by his former Grand Prix teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem) to help the team find success.

Kate, (Kerry Condon, who played the voice of Friday in Avengers) is the first female Technical Director in Formula One.

The F1 Movie was filmed around the world and Grand Prix venues and fans will recognize many of the locations including the APX GP factory which is located in Woking.

The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer with the help of seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton.

The F1 Movie had its world premier in New York this week and on Thursday, Brad Pitt flew to Austin Texas where he drove an old McLaren F1 car at the Circuit of the Americas.
