McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown has confirmed that he wants the Arrow McLaren SP NTT IndyCar Series team to run a third full-time car.

Brown, who attended Sunday’s season-opening Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park where Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet started the race from pole and finished the event in fourth place.

Brown have confirmed that he would like to have a driver of Juan Pablo Montoya or Helio Castroneves’ level of experience.

Arrow McLaren SP will field three cars in next month’s 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday May 30.

Juan Pablo Montoya will also compete in the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis presented by AMR on May 15.
