Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and the Mayor of HinchTown James Hinchcliffe have the equipment and knowledge at their disposal to take the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda to victory lane at Exhibition Place in Toronto this weekend.
Hinch who grew up a stones throw away from Toronto in Oakville has a great record in recent trips here.
The Canadian finished in fourth place here last year behind his team mate and fellow Canuck Robert Wickens. The team have had strong performances in the NTT IndyCar Series this season but just haven’t had luck on their side.
The Honda Indy Toronto is the perfect venue for the team to get their season in gear.
Speaking ahead of the race this weekend, Hinch said:
I’m obviously thrilled to be headed back to Toronto for the next race. This event made me fall in love with IndyCar when I was a kid, and getting to go back there every year is such a privilege. The No. 5 Arrow team has had great pace for several races in a row, we just need that end result to come together, and I can’t think of a better place for that to happen than Toronto. We’ve had podiums and top fives there recently, but we need to make that jump to the top step. After what the Raptors did, I want to bring another big win to the city! #WeTheNorth
