The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team announced on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix that Lance Stroll has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract keeping the Canadian with the Silverstone-based outfit into the new 2026 era of Formula One and beyond.
Stroll joined the team in 2019 and has over 150 race starts with the outfit and has scored three podium finishes.
Speaking about the news, Lance Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team driver, said:
“I’m super happy to have committed to staying with the team for 2025 and beyond. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in the last five years; we’ve grown so much as a team and there’s still so much more to look forward to.”

Stroll will once again partner two-time Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso for 2025, theor third year together.
