Former IndyCar Series driver and NBC Sports analyst Townsend Bell will replace Zach Veach for this weekend’s Detroit IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship round after Veach tested positive for COVID-19, Vasser Sullivan Racing confirmed on Wednesday evening.
Bell will co-drive the Lexus with Frankie Montecalvo. Vasser Sullivan Racing tweeted:
