Scuderia Ferrari technical director Mattia Binotto looks set to replace Maurizio Arrivabene as Team Principal according to media reports from Italy this morning.
It was first reported late last year that Arrivabene would be replaced by Binotto however Arrivabene labelled this report as fake news.
It appears however that Arrivabene has left the team with senior team personnel confirming the news to the Italian media.
It is believed an announcement will be made on Monday afternoon.
Arrivabene has been Team Principal at Ferrari since November 2014.
In 2018, Ferrari finished runner up to Mercedes in the championship with Sebastian Vettwl and Kimi Raikkonen finishing second and third in the Drivers championship respectively.
For 2019, the team have brought in Charles Leclerc from Sauber to replace Kimi Raikkonen who has gone in the opposite direction.
