President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway J Douglas Boles is delighted that the NTT IndyCar Series have added a third race at the Brickyard.
It was announced on Monday that the start of the 2020 season has been postponed until the Geneyes 600 on June 6 following the cancellation of Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix presented by Lear.
The NTT IndyCar Series confirmed that there will be three extra races this season with the addition of an extra race at Iowa Speedway on Friday July 17.
There will also be an extra race for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WhetherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Saturday 19th September.
The IndyCar Harvest Grand Prix at the Brickyard takes place on Saturday 03 October and will run alongside the the 8 Hour of Indianapolis and speaking following today’s announcement, J Douglas Boles said:
