Extreme E, the all electric SUV racing series which launches in March 2021 confirmed on Wednesday that German tool manufacturer, Bosch has been named official tool supplier to the series.
The agreement will see Bosch supply power tools which will allow the Odyssey 21 to be serviced. Speaking following the announcement, Founder and CEO of Extreme E Alejandro Agag commented saying:
I’m delighted to welcome Bosch to the Extreme E family. It is a brand that offers the best in terms of power tools, which are imperative for us to deliver a racing series, but is also incredibly forward-thinking and innovative in the wider space of technology and innovation.”
President of Robert Bosch, Henk Becker commented saying:
Our professional power tools are made for the toughest applications, be it on construction sites or other environments of dust, heat and cold – very similar to those conditions the teams are facing at Extreme E. We provide tools that make the Pro more efficient and that they can rely on. This is what we stand for.”
