Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas ended the final Friday practice session of the 2018 Formula One season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as the fastest driver of all with a time of 01:37.236s.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo were second and third fastest respectively with 2018 champion Lewis Hamilton fourth fastest.
Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was fifth fastest just ahead of his team mate Sebastian Vettel. The Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean was seventh fastest just ahead of the Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg. Kevin Magnussen in the second Haas was ninth fastest while Esteban Ocon rounded out the top ten for the Racing Point Force India Formula One Team.
Pierre Gasly was 11th for Scuderia Toro Rosso just ahead of Carlos Sainz in the second Renault while Fernando Alonso was 13th fastest just ahead of Sergio Perez in the second Racing Point Force India.
Charles Leclerc was 15th fastest for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team just ahead of Toro Rosso’s Brendan Hartley. Marcus Ericsson was 17th fastest just ahead of McLaren’s Stoffel Vandoorne while Williams Martini Racing’s Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin rounded out the order in 19th and 20th place respectively.
