Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas ended the final practice session ahead of qualifying for ths British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit in first place with a time of 01:25.873s.
The Finn ended the session just ahead of his team mate and championship leader Lewis Hamilton. Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen was third fastest just ahead of Racing Point’s Lance Stroll and McLaren’s Carlos Sainz.
Charles Leclerc was the leading Ferrari ending the session in sixth place just ahead of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.
Nico Hulkenberg was ninth fastest while Alpha Tauri’s Pierre Gasly rounded out the top ten.
Daniil Kvyat was eleventh just ahead of Esteban Ocon and Alex Albon who missed most of the session due to some sort of mechanical issue.
Sebastian Vettel was 14th after suffering an identical problem to the one he had on Friday with his pedals.
The Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean was 15th just ahead of George Russell and Antonio Giovinazzi who held up his Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN team mate Kimi Raikkonen at the end of fhe session while the Italian improved his time, Raikkonen did not.
Kevin Magnussen was 18th just ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Nicholas Latifi who ended the session in 20th.
