Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas will start Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring from pole position ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and his team mate Kimi Raikkonen.
Lewis Hamilton qualified in third but will start the race from eighth place due to a five place grid penalty.
Daniel Ricciardo starts the race from fourth place for Red Bull Racing just ahead of team mate Max Verstappen. The Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean starts the race from sixth place just ahead of Force India’s Sergio Perez.
Lewis Hamilton starts the race from eighth place just ahead of Esteban Ocon while Carlos Sainz rounds out the top ten.
Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg starts the race from 11th place just ahead of McLaren Honda’s Fernando Alonso while Stoffel Vandoorne starts the race from 13th place just ahead of Daniil Kvyat in the Toro Rosso and the Haas F1 Team’s Kevin Magnussen.
The Renault Sport F1 Team’s Jolyon Palmer starts from 16th place just ahead of Williams Martini Racing’s Felipe Massa.
Lance Stroll starts the race from 18th place in the second Williams. Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein round out the order in 19th and 20th respectively.
