Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas will start Sunday’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas from pole position having set a fastest time of 01:32.029s and is joined on the front row by Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel while Max Verstappen starts from third for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
Charles Leclerc starts the race from fourth while a disappointed Lewis Hamilton who could win his sixth Formula One title on Sunday starts the race from fifth place just ahead of Alexander Albon in the second Red Bull.
It was a great session for McLaren as Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris start the race from the fourth row in seventh and eighth place respectively. The Renault F1 Team’s Daniel Ricciardo and Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Pierre Gasly round out the top ten.
Nico Hulkenberg starts the race just outside the top ten in 11th place just ahead of Kevin Magnussen and Daniil Kyvat.
Lance Stroll starts the race from 14th place for the SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team just ahead of Romain Grosjean. Alfa Romeo Racing’s Antonio Giovinazzi did a great job to out qualify his team mate Kimi Raikkonen with the pair starting the race from 16th and 17th place respectively.
The Rokit Williams Racing Team’s George Russell and Robert Kubica round out the grid while SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team’s Sergio Perez will start the race from the pit lane after missing weigh bridge on Friday.
