Four time CART champion Sebastien Bourdais says that he has been very impressed with AJ Foyt Racing having moved to the team ahead of the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season.

Bourdais was set to share the No.14 Chevrolet with NTT IndyCar Series rookie Dalton Kellett and Tony Kanaan competing in the first four races of the season however as a result of COVID 19 that plan has gone out the window as the first four races of the new season were cancelled.

Speaking to the IndyStar in Indianapolis, Bourdais has confirmed that he will likely be returning to the NTT IndyCar Series full time in 2021 with AJ Foyt Racing if he can put together the budget.

AJ Foyt Racing have one full time driver for this season with Charlie Kimball returning to full time NTT IndyCar Series competition in the No.4 NovoNordisk Chevrolet.

Bourdais said that he is more motivated about what is coming in 2021 instead of waiting to see what happens this year.
