KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais heads into the Verizon IndyCar Series season finale, the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma in 12th place in the standings.

The Frenchman took victory at the Chevrolet Dual In Detroit Race 1 and heads to Sonoma following a fifth place finish last time out at the IndyCar Grand Prix at Watkins Glen presented by Hitachi.

Speaking ahead of the weekend’s action, Bourdais commented by saying:

Unfortunately, KVSH Racing didn’t test at Sonoma this week, but we have had a good race car on the permanent road circuits this year especially last weekend at Watkins Glen. Hopefully, we will come off the transporter with a good baseline and be competitive. The season finale in Sonoma is worth double points, so we still have a chance to finish in the top-10 and that is our goal.. We just have to keep working hard and do the best we can.
