KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais in the No.11 Team Hydroxycut Chevrolet ended the final practice session ahead qualifying as the fastest driver having set the fastest time of 01:00.6035s. Despite being fastest the Frenchman said that they can still improve the car slightly before qualifying.

Series points leader Simon Pagenaud was second fastest in the No.22 PPG Automotive Refinish Chevrolet just ahead of team mate Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet.

Helio Castroneves in the No.3 Pennzoil Chevrolet was fourth fastest just ahead of reigning series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 Target Chevrolet. The New Zealander set a fastest time of 01:01.0034s ending the session just ahead of AJ Foyt Racing’s Jack Hawksworth who was the fastest Honda car in 6th place.

Graham Rahal in the No.15 Rousseau Metal Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda was seventh fastest just ahead of Charlie Kimball in the No.83 NovoNordisk Chevrolet.

Mikhail Aleshin was ninth fastest for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda despite bringing out a brief red flag as a result of a puncture. The Russian ended the session just ahead of Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT DATA Chevrolet who rounded out the top ten.

Josef Newgarden in the No.21 Preferred Freezer Services Chevrolet ended the session in 11th place just ahead of Dale Coyne Racing’s Luca Filippi in 12th place.

Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda led the Andretti Autosport effort this morning in 13th place just ahead of team mate Alexander Rossi in the No.98 Castrol/EDGE with Curb Honda.

Takuma Sato was 15th fastest in the No.14 ABC Supply Co AJ Foyt Racing Honda ending the session just ahead of Carlos Munoz and Chip Ganassi Racing’s Max Chilton. Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe had a tough session as he ended the morning in 18th place setting a time of 01:01.6075s.

Juan Pablo Montoya’s session had another tough session this morning following an issue with the No.2 Devilbiss Chevrolet. The Colombian ended the session 19th place just ahead of Dake Coyne Racing’s Conor Daly.

Marco Andretti in the No.27 Dr Pepper Honda was 21st while Spencer Pigot in the No.20 Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet rounded out the order in 22nd place.
