Dale Coyne Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais will return to the race track this weekend as he attends the Honda Indy Toronto.

Seven weeks after his horrendous crash during qualifying for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, the Frenchman has recovered sufficiently enough to allow him to travel.

Bourdais will be on hand working as an advisor to Ed Jones and Esteban Gutierrez for this weekend’s 85 lap race at Exhibition Place.

It is expected that Bourdais, who win the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg will return to racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series for the IndyCar Grand Prix at Watkins Glen on September 3.
