Four time CART champion Sebastien Bourdais has confirmed that he is not retiring from the NTT IndyCar Series.

It was announced on Friday that the Frenchman has left Dale Coyne Racing along with Jimmy Vasser and James ‘Sulli’ Sullivan after losing their main sponsor for 2020.

Shortly after the announcement was made JDC Motorsports announced that Bourdais will drive for them in a Cadillac for the 2020 and 2021 IMSA WeatherTech championship.

Bourdais said that he doesn’t see his departure from Dale Coyne Racing as the end of his IndyCar career however he refused to discuss details of what happened with Coyne.
