AJ Foyt Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais in the No.14 ROKiT Chevrolet has indicated to NBC Sports lead IndyCar presenter Leigh Diffey that today’s NTT IndyCar Series season-ending Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be his last race as a full-time IndyCar Series driver.
The four-time series champion returnee to full-time competition in IndyCar in the No.14 ROKiT Chevrolet alongside Dalton Kellett in 2021 however, it has been a tricky season for the team.
The Frenchman has to sign a contract for next season and a number of drivers are under consideration for a drive in the No.14 ROKiT Chevrolet for 2022.
Tatiana Calderón tested for the team earlier this season and was extremely impressive getting up to speed and had great times with Team President Larry Foyt confirming that the Colombian is under consideration for a drive.
