Former Formula One technical director, team boss and owner Ross Brawn has revealed that he is considering a return to the sport, but not with a team.
Liberty Media, the new American owners of Formula One may have approached the 61 year old who walked away from the sport at the end of the 2013 season after leaving Mercedes about a role within the sport.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Brawn revealed that would like to return to the sport in future but not with a team.
Speaking about the prospect of working alongside Bernie Ecclestone who remains in charge of the commercial side of Formula One following the take over of the sport by American company Liberty Media, Brawn said it was an interesting concept.
Brawn has co-written a book with former Williams chief executive Adam Parr which will be released next week.
