Ireland’s Craig Breen returns to the FIA World Rally Championship at the end of the month for the Arctic Rally Finland which takes place from 26th to 28th February for the first time since his second place finish at Rally Estonia in September last year. Arctic Rally Finland will be the only full winter event of the 2021 season and looking ahead to the event, Breen said:
“Just driving this car again, it’s fantastic, “The test went well. The surface of the road was maybe a little bit soft with the snow and it rutted up quite quickly.
“When you’re using a test road in both directions, that can be a little bit complicated as you have ruts at either end of the corner. But other than that it was all good.
“It’ll be interesting to see what we get in terms of road conditions on the event, if we do get a hard ice base or if it’s softer, drier snow. That could have an impact on running order.
