Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Lindsay Brewer, who made her INDY NXT presented by Firestone race debut with the team in St Petersburg six weeks ago, says that she knew she was making a big step up from USFPro2000. Speaking to Paddock Eye on Saturday at the Children’s Grand Prix of Alabama presented by AMFirst at Barber Motorsports Park, the Colorado native said:
So far, it has been absolutely incredible! I knew it was going to be a pretty big jump up from USFPro2000 with a lot more horsepower and more downforce in the car. Ao I am still getting to grips with the car and that confidence in the car that I need, particularly at a place like here in Barber. I keep getting better and better each session.
In terms of Barber Motorsports Park, Brewer said that she feels more confident in the car, which is essential at a place like this.
As for what the future holds for her, Brewer says that her plan is stay in the INDY NXT PRESENTED By Firestone for another few seasons but that she one day wants to compete in the Indianapolis 500, The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
