Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Ericsson in the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda says that while he is disappointed with his result from Sunday’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, overall it was a great weekend as he ran up front throughout the race.

Overall a great weekend in Long Beach. Yes I’m disappointed, but still feeling like a lucky guy @irisjooondahl 🥰. It’s the way we respond to setbacks that defines us. And I woke up today more motivated and determined to succeed then ever. Bring on the rest of the season! #ME8

The Swede heads into the month of May in eighth place in the championship on 66 points. Ericsson scored his first podium finish of the season in the XPEL 375 at Texas Motor Speedway last month.
