McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown says the team are working on getting his Formula One drivers out to the United States for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge which takes place on May 30 but admits that scheduling wise it could be tricky.

Speaking during a live Q&A with Arrow McLaren SP’s Pato O’Ward on Saturday evening, Brown confirmed that he wants to bring Daniel and Lando to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indy 500.

Brown confirmed he is also hoping to arrange a Formula One test for Pato O’Ward at some point this season but they are working on the details.

In terms of getting Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris over to Indianapolis for the 500, the week before the race is the Monaco Grand Prix and the week after Indy is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku and with current COVID 19 travel restrictions in place it could be tricky but the team are working on it.
