The NTT IndyCar Series announced on Wednesday that the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which was due to take place from March 5-7 has been moved to April 25.
The season will open on Sunday 11 April in Barber Motorsports Park.
Following the race in St Petersburg, IndyCar will head to Texsd Motor Speedway for the double-header Genesys 300 taking place on May 1/2.
IndyCar will head to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on May 15 with the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the Speedway road course.
The 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge will take place on May 30.
The Belle Isle Grand Prix double-header in Detroit will take place on June 12/13 with Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Lear.
Seven days after heading to Detroit, IndyCar heads to Road America on June 20.
Independence Day, July 4, will see IndyCar head to the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course before heading to Toronto for the Honda Indy Toronto on July 11.
The NTT IndyCar Series will head to a new venue on August 8 for the Music City Grand Prix on the streets of Nashville around the Tennessee Titans stadium.
IndyCar heads back to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on August 14.
World Wide Technology Raceway takes place on August 21 before the series heads to Portland on September 12.
The Firestone Grand Prix of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca takes place on September 19.
The 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season ending Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach remains in place for on September 26.
