Citroen Racing returns to the World Rally Championship as a full time works entry for the 2017 season.
Kris Meeke will take to the Monte Carlo Rally from January 19-22 in the brand new Citroen C3 WRC. Meeke is once again joined at the team by Waterford’s Craig Breen who will take part in his first full-time World Rally Championship campaign.
Breen drove a part time campaign in 2016 and for this year he will start the season in a Citroen DS3.
The French manufacturer have confirmed that they will run three full-time C3’s as soon as they can in 2017. Meeke and Breen are joined at Citroen in 2017 by Stephane Lefebvre. Citroen are one of the most successful manufacturers in the World Rally Championship and they will be hoping that with the C3 they will be able to win again in 2017.
