Colombian racing driver Tatiana Calderon will make her return to a single-seater car on November 7 as the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship holds an all-female test. The former NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver will test for Maserati MSG as they prepare for the 2024/25 season. Calderon is no stranger to Formula E, having tested it in 2018 and 2020.
Speaking about the news, she said:
“I’m really excited to join Maserati MSG Racing and I’m already enjoying working with some very familiar faces that I have worked with previously. I drove the GEN2 car but the GEN3 EVO is a very different experience and the evolution of the car from Season 10 (GEN3) to Season 11 (GEN3 EVO) makes a significant difference from a performance perspective. Testing time in Formula E is so limited that each session has critical importance and I will do the best possible job for the team in Valencia to help them prepare for the season ahead. With one eye on the future, I also want to make the very most of this opportunity to show the team what I can do. I’m very proud that the team has shown this faith and trust in me and I can’t wait to get started in Valencia.”
