Chip Ganassi Racing look set to hold on to Scott Dixon’s primary sponsor for the rest of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
Camping World joined Scott Dixon as the primary sponsor to the No.9 Honda for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil and speaking during Monday nights Indianapolis 500 Victory Banquet, the Iceman said that it looks as though Camping World will remain with the team for the rest of the season.
The New Zealander has been without a permanent primary sponsor after long-time Ganassi partner Target decided to end their sponsorship agreement with the team. Dixon has had NTT DATA, Tony Kanaan’s primary sponsor for a number of races along with GE LED Lighting.
With Camping World set to stay with Dixon, it provides the team with some continuity for the rest of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
