The McLaren Racing Formula One Team head into this weekend’s season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina circuit on the cusp on winning their first Constructors championship in 26 years.
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have had a phenomenal season with Norris having been in contention for the Drivers championship up until the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
McLaren has claimed five victories this season, including back-to-back victories in Azerbaijan and Singapore.
The Woking-based outfit has claimed a total of 20 podiums this season and go into Abu Dhabi this weekend 21 points ahead of Ferrari in second place with a total of 43 points on offer this weekend there will be a big battle between the two teams.
All McLaren need to do is for both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to finish ahead of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz on Sunday but that is easier said than done given Ferrari’s recent run of form.
The turnaround in form for McLaren Racing in Formula One over the past few seasons has been incredible and just goes to show the incredible work done by CEO Zak Brown and McLaren F1 Team Principal Andre Stella.
Sunday’s race is going to be an extremely interesting event with plenty still to play for.
