Agustin Canapino will return to racing action in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES this weekend as the sport heads to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey as the second half of the 2024 season gets underway.

Canapino missed the last race at Road America but is back in the No.78 Chevrolet and speaking ahead of the race this weekend, the Argentinian said:

“We arrive to this weekend with big expectations because of the performance that we had last year. At this track. Laguna Seca is one of the best track of the year, a legendary track that every driver wants to drive.”

Romain Grosjean in the No.77 Chevrolet is looking forward to getting back on track in California after a trip to France last weekend for 24 Hours of LeMans.

Speaking ahead ofvthe race this weekend, Grosjean said:

“Excited to surf on a good road this weekend at a track where JHR had pace last year.”
