Hot on the heels of announcing fresh deals with Hitachi and PPG, Team Penske confirmed on Friday that they have extended their sponsorship with Carlisle Companies Incorporated.
The new agreement will once again see Hawk Performance and DeVilbiss return as associate to all four of Team Penske’s cars as associate sponsors for the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series with both Hawk Performance and DeVilbiss acting as primary sponsors for four races next season.
Speaking about the new agreement, Carlisle Chairman, Dave Roberts commented by saying:
As we began to explore race teams to become involved with it became clear that Team Penske was the perfect fit for us. “Their brand is second to none, and they’ve had tremendous success in every motorsports series. We wanted to be with a proven winner and we could not be happier with how this relationship has grown.
Team owner Roger Penske commented by saying:
“The partnership with Carlisle and their companies is unique and it has grown across multiple platforms with Team Penske. “Carlisle is a company that understands how to maximize its partnerships in motorsports. Team Penske’s relationship with Carlisle has evolved from working with our NASCAR teams to becoming a key partner in our IndyCar program and the transition has worked well for their specific brands. We are excited to build on our success with Carlisle and Team Penske is honored to continue to represent its brands on and off the track.”
