Chip Ganassi Racing are celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2025 and throughout the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season the team will celebrate many aspects of their rich history in motorsports.
CGR’s three drivers, defending series champion Alex Palou, six-time series champion Scott Dixon and Kyffin Simpson kick off their quest for the Astor Cup at the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding this weekend.
In their 34 years of competition, Chip Ganassi Racing has amassed more than 260 race wins.
Speaking about entering his 35th season, team owner Chip Ganassi said:
When I look back on the 35 years, I know it’s because of the people that we have been able to consistently enjoy success, so any credit really goes to all of them. However, I must say that I look at us like a 35-year-old start-up company. Every year we need to redefine both our mission and vision. We reinvent ourselves, then regroup, and refocus. I think this is what has always kept us motivated.”
